In single elimination, the loser of each match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament and the winner moves on to the next match-up. There is a winners and losers bracket in this format. The loser of a set moves to a losers bracket for another chance, but players who lose twice are eliminated. Every participant matches up against every other participant. After each player has played against every available player, players are ranked by the best win and loss record. Swiss is a round-based, non-eliminating tournament format that can quickly handle a large number of players in only a few rounds, all while avoiding rematches. Match up your choice of participants, set any number of rounds, and assign match times.
